It is always inspiring to see designer crochet hit the runways and the shows for Spring 2017 have been no exception:
Moschino
My favorite crochet fashion was in the Moschino 2017 Resort show, a color-rich show featuring really bold granny square crochet as well as crochet swim tops:
Adam Selman
The colorful crochet and incorporation of granny squares continues in the Adam Selman Spring 2017 RTW collection where it is balanced out with some sophisticated white crochet:
Balmain
The Balmain 2017 resort collection also featured beautiful crochet in bold colors, in this case with an emphasis on color blocking and combining crochet stitches with other mediums and techniques:
Desigual
Check out the bohemian-inspired, colorful Spring 2017 collection from Desigual, which includes this in crochet:
Sibling
Sibling got attention for showing men’s and women’s fashion in the same show, which suits the gender-bending brand perfectly. The show incorporated some intriguing filet crochet:
Ulla Johnson
There are a few examples of beautiful feminine crochet in the Ulla Jonhson Spring 2017 RTW collection:
Les Copains
Check out the Les Copains Sprint 2017 RTW collection to see quite a bit of crochet in the form of swimsuits and bikini tops worn beneath other beautiful clothing. Here are a few examples:
MSGM
The MSGM Spring Summer 2017 Ready-To-Wear incorporated some frilly hyperbolic crochet tops in:
Red Valentino
The Red Valentino Spring 2017 RTW show had a unique combination of knit and crochet in some of its pieces:
Helen Rodel
One of my very favorite crochet designers is Helen Rodel who has called her Resort ’17 collection “Handmade Summer Dreams“.
NOVIS
The NOVIS Spring 2017 RTW collection includes knitwear and what looks to be a little bit of crochet:
It’s hard to tell if this last set is knit or crochet but I know that NOVIS has created crochet dresses in the past.
Hellessy
Not 100% sure if this Hellessy top is knit or crochet but it looks a lot like crochet shells in the zoom:
Peter Pilotto
Peter Pilotto’s show included some funky crochet bags as shown in a post by A Fashionista’s Diary:
